Signals & Track Gradients Incorrect (solved)

    Sorry if this has been covered previously but yesterday I noticed very high gradients, 5% or more, displayed on some track I had just laid.
    Having previously calculated that it definitely should be around 0.5% this had me chasing around for hours yesterday trying to adjust and even out out the impossible slopes I was seeing over around 1km of track.
    It was only this morning that I decided to drive this stretch and found that it was actually 0.5% and the error was in the figures shown when inspecting the tracks in Network Edit mode, which still show 5%.

    I don't know if this discrepancy has always been present in the editor or if it has just sneaked in with the latest update.

    Edit: Just to clarify it's not just on the track I laid recently but on all tracks it is showing 10x the true %age gradient.

    Railroad gradients are often given in permille, not percent. Maybe that's the case here too.

    Duh you are correct, thank you Spikee1975 .
    I probably set this to percentage way back last year when the editor was first released and now in the updated editor per-mile must be the default setting.
