Today I would like to suggest the Class 180 Adalente express DMU sets operated by Grand Central as a future dlc for ECML Peterborough to Doncaster. These sets are one of a small handful of classes capable of 125mph running. They can be found running on London King's Cross to Sunderland or Bradford Interchange services. As a side note, if also launched with FGW livery, they could also be back ported onto GWE which would vastly improve services and variety on the route that is seriously long overdue.

Would be a cool train to have in game and a different operator. But if we're suggesting GC why not also add they're new 221's ;)

They are trialling two 221's at the moment due reliability issues with there 180's.

Currently they are only operating between King's Cross and Wakefield Kirkgate because the routes to Bradford and Sunderland are not yet gauge cleared for the 221's.

Although it would be awesome to see the GC 221 as a second 125mph capable dmu come to the game, which in turn could be brought back to MML, I Don fancy our chances of getting more than 1 class in a dlc. Perhaps as a separate dlc if they pass gauging trials on the route.

In real life, the Class 180 showed much promise at launch, sadly they weren't to spend long with FGW originally, however they returned briefly for a second stint with them under the GWR brand. I was lucky enough to return from York (after NRM visit) on a GC 180 non stop to King's Cross back in 2017. Very comfortable with no technical problems.
