Hi my system is a B550M Aorus Pro Amd Ryzen 5 5600X 32Gb Ram 1Tb SSD original card was a MSI RX470 8Gb have updated card to A Gigabyte RX 6650 XT card Have Had TS 2 for a while and brought TS3 last month it was running on the RX 470 ok no issue all settings in game were "high" had also upgraded TS2 to TS3 game was ok THEN i updated the Card to the ( NEW) Gigabyte RX 6650 Xt this card was installed After i had removed the AMD software for the old card and rebooted to complet removel then shutdown the system removed the old card then install the new card on reboot let AMD decect new card and install the software for it and rebooted. issue i now have is very good pitcure all works but as game plays weather walking or in train or outside view (2) at intervills of about 1min it shutters as in (video Frame shutter) trying to catch up.settings in game are currently set to high get the same result with ultra is there a cache in the software that can be seset? Any help Kind Regards Ron NSW Australia
Sorry my error card is using 55 to 85 % did notice with AMD that when using open game TS3 it shows up as TS2 Yet DTG TS3 site says Cojon pass is included with TS3 as a TS3 Game (not a compatable with TS3)
Thank You rennekton#1349 Got me thinking outside the Box Well that was of Interest In AMD Adrenalin Edition software TS2 had Different Settings To TS3 so i adjusted TS3 settings to match TS2 and the video Frame shutter is reduced dramatically work in progress ( i forgot to mention earlier i have Dule Monitors (matched Pair) 1920 X 1080 so card is working ok
Thank For the Replies With the AMD software i found that 2 components the listed in "games" "graphics" and "Display" & "Advisors" Graphics and "Display are 2 separate Things you have to tinker with both to get the best results
Well Forget the above nothing to do with Graphic card it all about being logged into your dovetail account in TSW 3 as soon as i disconnected from my account all the frame slack stopped on all the games it all 55 t0 60 FPS
try this go to C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\DXCache and delete all the files there i always do that after an driver update the first drive on a route might have some stutter (building new cache files) after that it should be better
