I really like the graphical quality of TSW2, but I found these glitches which need a fix. There are at least two areas along the route where power poles and the electricity lines suddenly disappear when you walk along the route and move to a certain point. This doesn't happen at a distance, so I don't think it has anything to do with the visibility range. I tried to capture this as a gif picture, but it's too large to upload. So I'll post some screenshots (before and after the occurrence, third is a map view). But - these may not be the only occurrences of this type of glitch, so please, DTG, make sure you check thoroughly! (Edited because the descriptions haven't been precise enough or have been incorrect.) 1) before the glitch 1) after the glitch 1) map view, west of Rockwood 2) before the glitch 2) after the glitch 2) map view, north of Garrett
Found another one, and despite cars not being the prime target of the simulation I'm always checking how they are modelled and how authentic they look and behave (in this case). In Cumberland there's a bridge for the MD51 which crosses the rails, and underneath it there's another road. Cars on this road do not drive on the tarmac, but sink in very visibly. Aside from that, all cars on this route look rather shabby, all have opaque windows and a low polygon count.
And there it is, the same old bug people are complaining about since years: Sunlight on the rails inside a tunnel! It's near Manilla. It does indeed seem to be a very difficult task to avoid this ... Sand Patch Tunnel, too much light
