i have question for community? do you find anything wrong with gray or blank skins for locomotives? over on Trainsim.com forum there a lot of locomotives that are gray or blank that people can repaint.
would this open more railroad style dlc for DTG to make?

I'm completely fine with it, in fact, I like it, so that I can make locomotives and rolling stock more easily. But that's for the modder and repainter like me, not for the normal fellow who likes puttering around with stock sounds and physics.

I certainly wouldn't mind it myself, simply for the fact that it'd be making things a bit easier on repainters. Have your usual array of liveries for a DLC then have one clearly marked for the repainters like what Dogmouse's freeware ALCo S-2 on Railworks America has.

I could not repaint a loco properly and to me they would be of little use.
If they came with a default loco/wagon and provided it did not affect the price I don't see why not.

But the people who make the models might be against the idea.
