The Great Eastern Main Line (GEML) is not just another railway route—it's a transformative experience that could elevate Train Sim World 5 (TSW5) to unprecedented heights. Here's why GEML should be added to Train Sim World 5:

    1. Rich Historical Context: The GEML offers players a unique opportunity to delve into the rich history of one of the UK's most significant railways. This historic route, dating back to the mid-19th century, provides an engaging and educational experience that adds depth and authenticity to the gameplay.

    2. Scenic Masterpiece: The GEML stretches from the bustling urban landscape of London to the serene countryside and picturesque coastal regions of Norwich. This diverse scenery would captivate players, ensuring a visually stunning and immersive experience throughout their journey.

    3. Diverse Rolling Stock: The GEML features a variety of trains, including the iconic Class 90 locomotives with Mk3 coaches, Class 321 and Class 360 EMUs, and the reliable Class 66 freight locomotives. This diverse rolling stock offers players a unique and exhilarating driving experience, catering to different player preferences and enhancing the overall gameplay variety.

    4. Challenging and Rewarding Operations: The route's intricate track layouts, gradients, and junctions present realistic challenges that will test players' skills. Successfully navigating these complexities provides a sense of achievement and keeps players engaged, adding depth and replayability to the game.

    5. High Popular Demand: The GEML is a beloved route among rail enthusiasts. Including it in TSW5 would not only fulfill the desires of dedicated fans but also attract new players, boosting the game's popularity and community engagement.

    6. Modern Rail Experience: Setting the GEML in a recent timeframe, like 2019, allows players to experience the latest advancements in rail technology and infrastructure. This modern setting enhances the game's realism and appeal, showcasing the cutting-edge features and improvements of the route.

    7. Economic Significance: Connecting key economic hubs such as London and Norwich, the GEML is vital for business and commerce. Players would appreciate operating a route that plays a crucial role in the UK's economy, adding an extra layer of significance to the gameplay.

    8. Cultural Landmarks: The route passes by numerous cultural landmarks, offering players a chance to explore the rich heritage and attractions along the way. This adds an extra layer of interest and immersion to the game, making the journey more engaging and educational.

    9. Enhanced Gameplay Variety: The inclusion of diverse services such as intercity, regional, and freight operations ensures a dynamic and engaging gameplay experience. Players can switch between different types of services, keeping the gameplay fresh and exciting.

    10. Community and Multiplayer Potential: The GEML's popularity means that including it in TSW5 could foster a strong community of players, encouraging multiplayer interactions, shared experiences, and collaborative gameplay. This potential for community engagement would enhance the game's overall appeal and longevity.
By incorporating the Great Eastern Main Line into Train Sim World 5, you would be creating a richer and more dynamic rail simulation experience. The combination of historical context, scenic diversity, varied rolling stock, challenging operations, popular demand, modern features, economic significance, cultural landmarks, enhanced gameplay variety, and community potential makes the GEML an unmissable addition that would elevate TSW5 to new heights. This route wouldn't just enhance the game; it would transform it, offering an unparalleled journey for every rail enthusiast.

This strategic addition will not only captivate players but also solidify TSW5's reputation as the premier train simulation game on the market. Make the GEML a part of TSW5, and watch the community's excitement and engagement soar to new levels.

I can see this being turned into a TSW6 core route, but it would still be great to see regardless. Plus the layer possibilities onto other routes is great so it's definitely something to consider.

Sorry. Poor choice of words on my part. I mean it could be turned into a TSW6 route, and judging by DTGs record, they will most likely release another TSW game

Personally would like to see it go to Clacton and Walton with 309’s and 305’s on the suburban services.

Appreciate that but this is a route that would do equally well if not better in BR Classic era. Silver roof 47’s on Inter City services, 31’s and 37’s on freight plus secondary passenger services plus aforementioned EMU’s. But setting it in fairly recent times will just make it another electric bus stop route in the ever increasing catalogue of modern UK bus stop routes.

    Each to their own, though.
