Was playing around in livery editor this morning (mostly just to get the achievement for making a livery) and noticed Great Northern and London Midland logos in the logos section. It just seems kind of odd to me for DTG to have those licenses just to only use them for a logo most players probably won't even notice. Especially with London Midland when they have two LNWR routes that had to go unbranded (unless that would've meant being too early for Avanti and there would be difficulties getting Virgin license)

Where routes for these planned at some point? (I certainly don't think they're upcoming content as the logo section seemingly hasn't been updated since tsw4 since that game logo is the only game logo included (aside from tsw tycoon and City tram sim), (or maybe 5 since avanti West Coast logo is available).
Having said that, King’s Cross to Peterborough does keep being mentioned in suggestions...

To be honest, I think WCML South should've been set in the London Midland era since there isn't a licence for LNWR.

Nah they had it until very late on, a point of no return really. Interesting that LM is licensed though. Great Northern is part of Govia Thameslink, which also includes Southern, so they’ve bagged all three for the price of one there!
