So playing great western express i can never seem to arrive on time in the 166 I'm always running late any suggestions welcome thanks

 

Wait for the remaster and the new timetable

 

When is that coming i heard about it months ago

I found it's not completely impossible if you drive it like you stole it. Although it's not realistic at all

 

If at any time you are on time close the doors 20-30 seconds before departure. Then you’re ready to go immediately. Saves a few seconds.

 

That's how I drive the bakerloo line lol

 

The 166’s performance has been refined over the years, back in TSW 1 it was a lot faster in terms of acceleration, as well as no working PIS and different sounds. The timetable has never been updated to account for these updates, and so it is timed for a train which performance is much more realistic (slower) than it was.

 

Is there any class 166 6 car formation jobs on the timetable

Same on bakerloo section in WCMLS whit 72 stock, but i drive normally, notch 2 when departing and when reach 20 kph notch 3, start braking 320 metres before every stations

 

Pretty much how I drive all the trains over than the 801 lol - would explain why I'm often running early (on all routes other than GWE)
