ok here me out. Recently we got a US route with little CTC railroading. Then I want to see an all alco railroad known as the Green Bay and Western. Licensing would not be a problem because the Wisconsin Central bought them out in the 1990's which is now the Canadian National. please replay if anyone is interested.

Problem is that the Canadian National License only covers the CN ONLY, as their other property's are not covered by it (This is why the Bessemer & Lake Erie route got pulled from Steam, and Travel By Trains IC logos got removed from their SD70's).

Buying out a route or franchise doesn't necessarily transfer intellectual property so don't assume "it's that easy"
