Rockstar games are probably the best game developer in my honest opinion of open world games which are immersive and fun. The 1st time I played rdr2 back in 2018 I felt underwhelmed somehow but later revisiting I absolutely loved it. Any predictions when we will see more screens and trailers? And also what's your thoughts on what the release date will be as they have a habit of delaying things. I assume they will announce pre orders second trailer. Also, how is everyone going to approach the game. Are you going to do side quests first then main story or story first or a mix. I am not a man for spontaneity so I will probably plan what I do and do side stuff first and leave rest to last. What are also your most anticipated games for next year beyond gta 6 etc and what's your predictions for what will be announced etc? I hope we get the new doom game in spring and also that naughty dog announce new game as been ages. Additionally I am really hyped for next silent hill games. Just recently finished silent hill 2.
At this rate I think GTA 6 will release in 2125 rather than 2025. We got a trailer and then absolutely nothing for almost an entire year. I wonder if the GTA 6 reveal trailer was put out early because of the leaks that happened. Rockstar basically telling us all that yes GTA6 is the next game even though we didn’t want you to know just yet but the leaks happened so now we have too tell you… Trailer 2 is a mystery. It could be next month or it could be another year away from now… If it’s true that it’s on track for a late 2025 release then I reckon trailer 2 will be shown in Q1 of 2025. It has too….
Yeah they have to do marketing soon if hoping to release fall of 2025. We should be seeing a gameplay trailer, another trailer and two trailers (both focused on the characters)
If I get it I will most likely ignore the missions at the start and just go and explore the world. Which is what I have done on almost every GTA game from the very 1st one. The one thing I will pass on is going on multiplayer as I prefer just to play on my own. It will be interesting to see what changes there are since a lot of things have changed since the last one. Especially people being offended with things that wasn't offensive.
I think Rockstar already said they will not release it on PC on day one. It will most likely arrive on PC in 2026/2027. As for the price tag, their CEO said it is going to be more expensive. Here is the full quote, you will have to sift through and translate it from Corporate to plain English. "In terms of pricing for any entertainment property, basically the algorithm is the value of the expected entertainment usage, which is to say that the per-hour value times the number of expected hours, plus the terminal value that's perceived by the customer in ownership if the title is owned or subscribed to. And, you'll see that, that bears out in every kind of entertainment vehicle. By that standard, our frontline prices are still very, very low because we offer many hours of engagement. The value of the engagement is very high. So, I think the industry, as a whole, offers a terrific price-to-value opportunity for consumers. That doesn't necessarily mean that the industry has pricing power or wants to have pricing power. However, there is a great deal of value offered. And look, it's our strategy here to deliver much more value than what we charge consumers. It's always been our strategy here.
