So, let’s say you want to operate in guard mode on a long route, such as Preston-Carlisle. You start the service, depart, and check all the tickets. However, you’re left waiting for over 30 minutes at times, doing nothing. My proposal is an optional time skip feature which could be some sort of button and/or thing you have to do in guard mode. If you wish, you can skip forward in time by about two minutes before arriving at the next scheduled stop. This feature would be ideal for players who want to experience the gameplay of guard mode on longer routes and avoid sitting idle. On the other hand, players who prefer to enjoy the scenery and relax and not use the time skip feature.
Nice idea! It would be great if there was a time skip in general, but I feel like this is where it could be best implemented.
This is a good idea however I feel this would be better used for route hopping because I always route hop but then I have to wait say 20-30 minutes for a service to start where I want to go, however would also be good on guard mode
