After a previous service took me to slough I decided to catch a train back to Paddington. I caught the 3pm (ish) class 31 from platform 1.... or tried to.... I managed to open the door but could not access the coach as there was no ‘climb up’ triangle button available. Luckily I could access the class 31 itself.
I have the same problem on PC, I was able to board the train by going onto the tracks and getting in from the other side.
