Hi all, I think I may not be the only one who thinks this, but the GWML looks old and needs a major update. I'm pretty sure most of the line is now electrified, plus Reading station has had a major upgrade. So my suggestion is this: Have the line run from Paddington to Swindon, including the branch to Oxford, set in the present day with updated assets and electrification where possible. Stock used could be HST Class 800 Night Riviera sleeper train with Class 57 Class 378 Class 66 for freight workings Thoughts?
An updated GWML is available on Just Trains https://www.justtrains.net/product/western-mainlines Also an electrified version is available here, though only as far as Didcot https://alanthomsonsim.com/downloads/western-mainlines-electrification-project-stage-1/
DTG probably won't make it since there's Great Western Express in TSW. Just Trains could update their Western Mainlines similar to how Southwestern Expressways is getting an upgrade, but I don't think that would happen anytime soon (plus the electrified version on ATS mentioned above already exists).
