Hello, this is a route suggestion for the mainline between Hamburg Hbf and Kiel Hbf. I hope yall like this suggestion and i hope this has a chance in the future since the northern part of germany isnt well representated in Tsw, in my opinion and this route offers much variety. The route is around 85 kilometers long and has a travel time of round about 1.10h from end to end. Counting the Sbahn tracks, half of the route has 4 tracks and is fully electrified. It features the mainline leaving hamburg hbf in north-west direction. After leaving Hamburg Hbf the routes crosses the "Alster" and continues to Altona via Dammtor. The route then goes to Hamburg Altona (a terminus station) where many ICE lines have theire end. Other lines follow the tracks north without stopping in Altona and continue to the next main stop Neumünster and after that kiel Hbf. RE/RB lines also stop at various other stations along the route as to be seen later in the post. Some RE and RB lines start from Altona to Neumünster,Kiel, Itzehoe or Westerland(Sylt). All the other ones start at Hamburg Hbf. Two other big landmarks on this route are Stellingen Rbf and the Sbahn depot at Elbgaustraße. The route gets used by every type of train going from ICE,IC,RE,RB,S-Bahn,Freight to Shunting. The main operator of the route is Nordbahn, that is part of Nah.sh and so on part of DB Regio. Going from there possible rolling stock included could be: DB Br 446 Twindexx, DB Br 474.3 and DB Br 490. There are many other possible locos like the Stadler Flirt 3 or Married Pair wagons. Many of the existing german TSW rolling stock is useable.
