Today TSW3 is one year old and it still has the bugs that broke when the game when TSW2 content was imported into TSW3, and even after a whole year still hasn't been fixed. Unfortunately DTG have not given us the slightest reason to believe that these bugs will be fixed for TSW3.
This and the non working services from Aachen to Köln, because the Talent 2 you are sitting has no power, because the unit has no pantograph. You have to start on foot, then it works.
Also, add the "Train Sim World Introduction" under GWE to the list of broken things. This is a TSW1 intro that got inadvertently added to GWE training modules with the add-on manager patch. Makes a training achievement unobtainable...
Don’t forget the AI PIS bug on SEHS, BCC and NYT! No fixes at all, and honestly I doubt there ever will be, which is a shame.. For me, it really does ruin two fantastic UK routes.
it’s an extra shame for SEHS as it was one of the best for PIS actually working before it got extended.
Matt has been doing fixes and I believe he mentioned this entailed some rather late nights; appreciate your work!
Other way round, fixed for TSW4, and then ported to TSW3 (much like the fixes for TSW2 being ported over from TSW3, which did not happen unfortunately).
I bought TSW2020 and TSW2 on PS4 and PS5 as well and most British DLC and that is where my installation remains frozen at. TSW3 was and still is not worth buying. Good riddance to the stuttering stillborn abhorrence that was TSW3. I never wanted you and won't miss you. As far as the TSW franchise, with TSW3 I said "NEVER AGAIN" and refused to buy it or any of the DLC. In that time I have bought about a dozen other titles, many at full price, with two published by Focus Entertainment. (Snow Runner and Insurgency Sandstorm). I never felt the need to complain about any of these purchases and actually go as far as praising some of them, especially the two from FE which are of extremely high quality and obviously the product of highly competent design teams. This is not a judgement I could make of DTG products which have consistently under delivered, are buggy and often run poorly. Never say never again? I watch the release of TSW4 with some interest as a person who likes simulation software and having a higher than average interest in trains. Unfortunately it has already been stated that there is no performance improvement over the dismal TSW3 so as it stands there is zero chance of a purchase.
