I love the black 5! I'm going on one in the Easter next year on the West Highland Line. It's the Jacobite Steam Train operated by West Coast Railways from Fort William to Mallaig and back over the spectacular Glenfinnan viaduct that features in the harry potter films. What a day that'll be!
The Black 5s are super cool. In this image is 45231 'The Sherwood Forester' reversing into Salisbury with the help of 47614 (47853) in BR Blue. Gonna be seeing a Black 5 in December with RTC's London - Bath. (Hopefully 44932). Just realised Black 5 day like Black Friday. Clever joke.
