Note:Full route is(53 miles). There would be 20 additional stations and the route would normally end at Wassaic.
What you have there is the list of local services Grand Central to North White Plains. On the other hand Express runs Grand Central to White Plains North White Plains then local Southeast Brewster North. That's the schedule on Weekdays Weekends
This was taken from a route map for this line,if it's wrong i had know way of knowing.I was just listing the route as it was shown on the route map.
You actually used the map. For services use MTA Metro-North site then click Harlem Line weekday and weekends.
Thanks for this, I haven't a clue about the NYC Railways, so this is quite helpful. Seperate the 'Line:' and the 'Grand', the titles don't allow two capitals in the same 'word' (obviously it can't distinguish between a word and two connected words ) Type it as: Harlem Line: Grand Central... (Etc), it should work then
The line isn't electrified past Southeast, so there would be little point building it all the way to Wassaic.
So dtg stopped at N.W.P to avoid the need for doing some kind of diesel loco and passenger cars.(I don't think anyone from dtg said this yet but i guess it what we should have expected). Either way this might still be a decent route.
Looks like the devil will be in the details on this one. Even if it's relatively short, the architecture and landmarks could make this route a real winner.
No. The electrified section of the line ends at southeast which would be 30 stations in total. The P32AC-DM mostly runs shuttle services north of southeast to wassaic since that part of the line isn't electrified. You would have some services go from wassaic to grand central but they mostly happen during peak rush hour times and even that isn't many services with the p32 Services from grand central to southeast take about an hour or less. Sorta like how long it takes a player to complete southern services on London Commuter to/from london victoria to brighton
Correct it's 1hr 27 1hr 30 Southeast to GCT because those skip local stops like Scarsdale since they're express from North White Plains and can't be M7A 10-12 car trains due to power issues while M3As don't fry the substations. Send an M7A 10-12 car train to Southeast you'll get this message Service Failure Your train has caused a Substation Failure. Southeast bound M7A must be 8 cars due the substations in ability to run them
