I am suggesting that the Harrogate line route should be a DLC route for TSW with the following trains in: Class 158 'Express Sprinter', Class 142 'Pacer' (the best train) and, Class 170 'turbo star'.
This would be a fantastic route to have in TSW, but I'm also slightly biased being relatively local. It has some interesting features such as Knaresborough & Arthrington viaducts and the two mile long Bramhope tunnel. The section of line between Harrogate and Poppleton is traditionally signalled with semaphores and manned manual level crossings. Until very recently, the single track sections of the route used physical tokens, handed to the driver by the signaller which would be something new for TSW. I believe this has now been changed to a tokenless operation, but still retains semaphores. There's also a good level of service, IIRC there's 2tph between Leeds and Knaresborough with 1tph continuing on to York and there's also an hourly semi fast between Leeds and Harrogate. The routes got a mix of urban (most of the route between Leeds and Harrogate) and rural (from Harrogate to York) which should keep it interesting.
