Hi all. Yes I tried run in Admin when install I was trying to install the OTS's Harrogate Loop. I got all the requirement for route, including UKTS stuff that somehow appeared on RailSimDe. Thus I install, then error message: [...not totally installed....Cannot create the following file...."......\DPSimulation\HLQD_1617\Preload\Class 142 Northern Unbranded 2-Car.$$A"] I was in process of contacting with OTS but think it will be good to ask here in case someone else already faced the same issue and fixed it. Problem is, the missing file seems to be a DPS reskin "Class 142 'Northern Rail Unbranded'". This reskin was part of the scenario requirement, not route requirement. I installed the reskin as instructed but it seems require the AP Class 142 1.0 Pack, which was replaced by the 2.0 and no longer available. Why I think so? The instruction given by DPS' was to copy the .geo file from "AP Waggonz" which is not where the 2.0 pack installed (which used the standard AP folder instead). In this situation, the installer continue to throw the same error message to me. As alternative solution I copied whatever other preload there is in the same folder and renamed as what the Error Message looking for. This solution did not work either. In this case, is there any insight available on why theres such issue and better, how can I fix it if possible at all? Would be funny if turns out everyone else using the route already had the AP 1.0 Pack thus they never had such issue :P
That's probably true....it's an old route. The missing file my have come with a reskin but it isn't part of the reskin, merely being a Preload file for a particular vehicle. Y You need to get TS Tools or Loco Swap and swap out the missing 142s for the version you have.
But then…if installer wouldnt even complete the installation then I cannot use TS Tool to fix it ;p
