Has Anyone Actually Managed To Create A Custom Route?

this is more of a Curiosity question but since we have been teased a Editor to create routes a few years ago and still havent gotten it, it had made me curious if anyone in the modding side of the community had actually manage to create one. likely havent yet but i thought i ask anyway

At the level of inception in which this forum exists, no. I don't know anything about it. One or two levels below, it's better. I have a pretty good RSN rework on my account. BR o7

 

No made routes nor custom locos but someone merged RSN and RRO

 

There is no public editor and there never will be one. So it isn't possible to create a route or a loco.

 

Didn't someone once manage to place a gigantic donkey onto Southeastern?

 

Yeah this was trainsimcz i think, but he did that without the TSW editor. I think there already was the donkey as asset placed on that route and he was able to chage the size of it. But this is faaar away from being able to lay tracks and place signals.

Well this is the offical version - never. They said it exactly like this every time when talking about the editor.

 

You can join in if you like...."if it's not on the roadmap"....etc lol

 

Whilst I get that dovetail say it's never going to happen and there are many more important priorities as of now, the Editor would be a good thing to have - however I think it would need to be a little more user-friendly than the TS Editor and (I'd imagine) DTG's Editor.

However it would be good even just to mess around with, or do some things like backdate routes etc.
I say this even though it would probably end up PC-Only because consoles only have so many buttons etc.
