Hello! I have been trying to run Isle of Wight scenario, however when I open up TS2021 it doesn't recognise the Xbox controller. I have to enter settings and change to controller, then when running I do not get the open doors button. There doesn't seem to be an open doors button on the controller. I have only noticed this today. I only purchased the controller last week and when I connected it the first time TS2021 recognised the device. Added to this it is impossible to play if the settings are set to basic. Am I doing something wrong, please?
The trains might not be set up for XBox use as the route is quite old by TS Standards - released 7 Jun 2012 Try the controller on a newer route - if it works on that then you know it is a problem with the I.O.W.
749006, Thank you for your reply, I have just tried it on the WCML south and the controller doesn't work unless I go into settings and select it. The TS2021 manual actually states "If you are using an XBOX 360 Controller and it is connected when the game starts, you will be able to use it straight away". I have sorted the door opening in Isle of Wight, it needs HUD set to full as the 483 has no open doors button in the cab. It seems that had nearly always has to be set to full, I was driving a Class 66 this morning and with HUD set to minimal there was no sander button. I looked all round the cab and couldn't find one. Cheers,
Do you not also have a keyboard connected? Use T to open train Doors and X is the Sander With the Class 66 on the LHS just in front of the Train Air Brake leaver is the Sander leaver - At first look you could think it was the horn leaver Peter
