Yes it has. I even find my self Googling information about various places on TSW routes to learn more about them in general. I live in the US and play mostly US routes, but I recently purchased Blackpool and thoroughly enjoy that route. All of the European routes with the initial TSW4 release are excellent and I enjoy playing them.

Definitely, before TSW I know next to nothing about Germany's railways, now I watch all sorts of videos relating to German trains and have multiple videos saved on YouTube even though I've not no clue what they're talking about

Since starting with TSW, I have learned that the US actually has a lot of railways, something I never knew before

Yup! I joined because of the Bakerloo Line, and found out how much fun Germany could be because of Schnellefahrstrecke Koln-Aachen!
As for Sand Patch Grade, I could appreciate the trains, but never found much enjoyment out of driving them. I still feel like I am expecting something that isn't there, so I should adjust my expectations before playing again.

In all honesty not at all: I just don't have the interest in other countries railways to even buy the DLC in the first place.

No, I only stick to UK routes because that's what I'm familiar with.

I live in Australia so nothing in TSW is local to me. Luckily, I have been to many other countries and travelled by train including USA, UK, Germany and Austria. I have been able to recreate many of my train journeys in both TSC and now TSW. It is interesting to compare local practices with those of other countries.

I've always been fascinated by railways around the world. Frankly I don't really understand why you would be exclusive to just your home country.

But, each to his zone I guess.

Yes it has, I don’t like at all to stick to one country when theirs fun stuff to be had in others aswell.

I’ve also looked into other countries not in the game because of the game aswell.

Yeah I was only familiar with US railroading and a little bit of UK stuff, but TSW truly kicked my love for British rail into high gear, and it really did help me learn a lot about German railways as well. Still only really limited to the Deutsche Bahn, but it’s a big step still!

Learning about international railways is pretty difficult to do, so having a virtual representation of some of the actual routes and trains which I can interact with really helps a lot with teaching me about them.

I'm in Germany and somewhat familiar with our rail transport. I already knew the UK and US routes from MSTS and have been there since TSW2020 CE.

To be honest, I like the UK routes best but also the US routes with passenger traffic. US freight doesn't appeal to me that much now.

I particularly like the other routes, apart from GER/UK/US, and would really like to see a Japanese route!

I like diversity and enjoy getting to know new things. Everything that is different makes me curious and interesting.

I have always taken a world view of the railway scene, long before the era of train sims or even the Internet. In the 80s travelled extensively in Europe and Canada. Other people bought books, my night table reading was the Thomas Cook European and Worldwide Timetables!

It has for me, having timetable mode in particular has helped. I have started researching the German railways in particular, but have enjoyed the USA railways more than I thought I would. I hope we get more countries being added in the future. I would love to see more French routes in particular.

TSW has got me quite interested in German railways - mainly the Regional stuff.
In TSC I own the Hamburg-Hannover route and I thoroughly enjoyed the ICE2 but I never really counted myself as 'interested' in German railways as a result.

TSW, however, has got me interested in the regional and S-Bahn side of things - the backbone. Same with Switzerland.
Helps that I'll be in Germany in the summer - I'll finally experience it for real.
I'll even be staying in Köln and Munich for a while - paying a visit to a couple of stations and locations in the game!

Yes definitely and I go on YouTube to watch them in action. I've even bought an encyclopedia that weighs about a ton showing them all. I'm also planning a trip to Germany soon to check out the real thing. I have a friend in the US who sends me photos of the trains, whenever she is stopped near the front of a level crossing she takes photos and video with her phone!

Not really. I am a now interested in modern British commuter routes, because I enjoy them in TSW a bit more than I thought.
But I'm mainly interested in the older stuff like Northern Trans Peninne, Tees Valley, Peak Forest,
TSW hasn't changed anything about that.
