    Hi.

So I was looking for the Hatchet Hill Quarry DLC, which is required for a workshop route I've downloaded. In the Steam Store, I could not find it.

Google gave me a link to its store page, and I found it only to be accessible outside the Steam client Store.
Although the DLC picture was broken, I could add it to my cart in Firefox. I made the purchase and... it worked!

Strange that it is not accessible from the Steam client itself.

Not exactly sure but I think it's a retired DLC. I have the route myself and I just checked in my DLC collection on steam I bought it back in 2014, so I definitely believe it's one of those old no longer available routes. Which does make sense, I've played the route myself and it's quite buggy. For example on one of the scenarios (I don't remember which). It asks me to couple up to some wagons. I did, I checked to make sure it was in the right spot too but the objective did not complete.

Yes, but the funny thing is when I logged into Steam on my web browser I was able to make the purchase. Made me feel like I tricked the system ;)

UKTrainSim has fixes for it btw.

Yeah, still being able to buy it from your web browser is certainly strange.

Thanks, interesting it's still available through web browser access.

I've bought it for the beautiful little workshop route "The New Seaport Line V2".

Glad you posted this as I had forgotten it was a requirement for some of the workshop routes and had sent it to sleep to save some space. Now restored thank you.

Sorry to hear it’s now unavailable. It was when I required it and appeared in a sale. Keep your eyes pealed!!!

But it is available, that's the point of this thread...;)

You could have done better. It still gets sale prices.

Yes, but as it is in a limbo-style state it's likely to disappear completely, like the TGV Réseau.

Been that way for a long time. I get what you're saying, though.

Yep at least a year and a half from what I know and can confirm, and most likely ever since it was actually withdrawn if anyone knows when that was.

I wanted the engine and I buy what I want and don’t buy what I don’t. Withdrawn items rarely appear at sale price and I could have waited (maybe forever) - I am happy with my purchase - the end.
