Hey guys Today I will be requesting the line that runs from Basel SSB -> Interlaken Ost. Enjoy Introduction This line is 100km (62 miles) and runs from One of the biggest cities in Switzerland over to the capital city of Bern then it continues back down on the edge of a beautiful lake before reaching Spiez where one line heads south to Milan or East to Interlaken which is our route Safety Systems are ETRMS/ETCS Level 1 and LZB. Pantograph pickup is at 25kV 50HZ AC and the max speed of this linew is 200km/h after leaving Basel SSB Station. Trains: 1. SSB ETR610 “Pendolino” This will be the highspeed EuroCity train of the route doing limited stop services along the line. It’s also a tilting train. This has a max speed of 293km/h (182mph) but a service speed of 250km/h (155mph). It’s electrical pickup is 3kV DC, 25kV 50HZ AC and 15kV 16(2/3)HZ AC. And it’s safety systems are LZB, ETRMS/ETCS Level 1 and whatever the Italian safety systems are. 2. Stadler GTW 521/522 RABe This is a train we already have in game but, people do complain about lot’s of problems with this train. This could be a chance to redeem themselves, anyways this train has a max speed of 200km/h (125mph) and can run commuter trains outside from Basel, Bern, Interlaken and Thun. Pantograph pick ups are 15kV 16(2/3)HZ AC and maybe 25kV 15HZ AC Scenarios: Introduction: Spawn in at Bern HB and head out on a train heading towards anywhere (difficulty-1) (duration-5mins) Getting used to it: Operate a service from Basel to Geneva but only as far as Bern for another driver to take over (difficulty-2)(duration-1hr10mins) Snowy stopper: Take this RABe 521 from Basel on an S1 Service from Basel to Thun but the snow is slowing trains back and stopping them randomly so watch out for signals (difficulty-3)(duration-1hr30mins) Fast track to the lake’ Take this ETR610 from Basel SSB to Interlaken Ost but do to a signaling fault in Bern you are running ten minutes late so the Signaler let you skip Spiez and Thun to make up time, use this as your advantage to speed up and get on time but signals still might not be in your side (difficulty-5)(duration-2hr10mins) Bringing it in and back: Form your train formation of 8 at the nearby depot of Basel for your S3 service to Olten, after forming your train wait a few minutes to get into the right platform. After that swap sides of the train and bring it to Olten then swap sides again and bring it over to Porrentruy but only as far as Basel SSB (difficulty-4)(duration-1hr35mins) Next slide is Platforms and Services/Layers.
Stations: Important only. 1. Basel SSB - Start of this trip for ECE 2. Liestal - 3. Sissach - Limited stop for ECE 4. Olten - Branches off to Luzern 5. Bern - Train must reverse out 6. Thun - end of S1 to Bern 7. Spiez - branches off thru Gothard Tunnel 8. Interlaken West 9. Interlaken Ost - End of the line Services: ECE: EC: Basel to Milan (Spiez) EC: Milan to Basel (Spiez) EC: Basel to Domodossola (spiez) EC: Domodossola to Basel (Spiez) EC6: Interlaken to Hamburg (Basel) EC7: Hamburg(Basel) to Interlaken EC52: Milan(spiez) to Frankfurt (Basel) EC53: Frankfurt (Basel) to Milan (Spiez) ECE151: Basel to Luzern (Olten) SBahn: (here we go) S1: Basel to Frick (Pratteln) S1: Frick (Pratteln) to Basel S1: Basel to Laufenburg (pratteln) S1: Laufenburg (Pratteln) to Basel S3: Basel to Olten S3: Olten to Basel SSB S3: Basel SSB to Laufen S3: Basel SSB to Porrentruy And that’s all I’m doing because if I did all it would take me more than my 2 hour time limit. Layers: Br406 “ICE 3M”: ICE474: Basel SSB -> Kiel Hbf ICE206: Basel SSB -> Köln Hbf ICE4: Basel SSB -> Frankfurt Hbf Br401 “ICE 1” ICE3: Karlsruhe Hbf -> Zürich HB Playable: ICE275: Berlin Ost(Basel) -> Interlaken Ost ICE278: Interlaken Ost -> Berlin Ost(Basel) ICE371: Berlin Ost(Basel) -> Interlaken Ost iCE372: Interlaken Ost -> Berlin Ost(Basel ICE373: Berlin Ost(Basel) -> Interlaken Ost ICE376: Interlaken Ost - Hamburg Al(Basel) TGV 200 Series “Duplex” Now this train obviously can’t layer due to none of the safety systems being on the TGV we have. DTG gave us the worse TGV Duplex out of all them. But if they were to layer even if they aren’t drivable: TGV9206: Zürich -> Paris Gare De Lyon TGV9203: Paris Gare De Lyon -> Zürich TGV9210: Zürich -> Paris Gare De Lyon TGV9218: Paris Gare De Lyon -> Zürich Now I’m pretty sure that’s all their is please interact and tell me what you think If you can tell me how long the ICE platforms at Dresden and Riesa are that would be amazing. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/can-someone-with-dra-check-something-for-me.62246/ If you have anything to Correct me with don’t hesitate to!
Correction Switzerland actually uses 15kv 16.7hz like Germany and Austria. You forgot Freight locomotives in the form of SBB Baureihe RE474 * 484 because they would be going towards Italy via the Alpine Base Tunnel the nearest one is Lötschberg Base Tunnel. You got to consider the existing SBB S-Bahn Luzern Sursee which is actually part of Bahnstrecke Olten Luzern giving Rabe 523 to here.
