The Munich Augsburg high-speed route is a very nice route. But I would like to take a little trip into the past of this main route, to taste the charm of days gone by and immerse myself in a world that has disappeared from today. Unfortunately, I don't have much information about this area of Germany, but I found this page where it is very well documented what it used to look like there. https://www.doku-des-alltags.de/BDMuenchen/KBS900/0 Uebersicht.html I have attached the link to the page. Above you can click through the individual train stations and stops to get information and pictures. https://www.doku-des-alltags.de/BDMuenchen/MuenchenHbf/Muenchen Hbf 0.html Here we will focus specifically on Munich Central Station because it is very complex and there is a lot to see here. And of course the route from Munich Central Station to Munich Pasing should not be missed. There used to be a freight station to the right of the Hackerbrücke, which was also captured quite well in pictures https://www.doku-des-alltags.de/BDMuenchen/Muenchen%20Hauptstrang/Hauptstrang%20Pasing%a0Hbf.html I hope the links all work and maybe my suggestion will find interested ears. I would love it if more information about the route would come in. I'm really fascinated by the old version of the route at the moment. If I find out more information I will post it here from time to time. If anyone knows of a book about the old version of the route, I would be happy if someone could tell me the title.
