PlayStation Have Dtg Stopped Adding Trophies For Loco Dlc?

I have noticed the Acela had no trophies and trophies for the next set of routes has appeared but no trophies for West Cornwall railtour?

I suspect DTG have stopped adding trophies for anything but routes now, I suppose it makes it easier to test now with less trophies (can also be applied to achievements for Xbox and Steam) but when you pay £10-15 for a dlc its nice to have a trophy or 2

 

Didn’t DTG basically get told by Sony at one point that they had too many trophies for TSW?

 

Yeah, it was said on a livestream that they've been told about having too many trophies. It's another case of "Play has no Limits"

As of TSW3's release, route DLC only get 3 trophies per route and loco trophies are sadly no longer a thing. The way I'd personally have done it is continue doing 10 trophies for routes and 5 for locos but with TSW3's release, have a fresh slate without copy/pasting trophies for previous routes. This would mean only TSW3 content would have trophies but allowed them to continue doing 10 for routes and 5 for locos, it took several years to build them up to that trophy limit and by the time they got anywhere near close, we'd likely be in TSW4 by then with another new list of trophies for only TSW4 content. It would've also been a reason to keep TSW2020 and TSW2 on sale for those old trophies too.

 

That's what I thought, they should have not provided trophies for TSW 2020 / 2 content and only for TSW3 so you dont use nearly 200 trophies right from the start it would be like base game 40 ish as you could have had more generic mileage, level trophies ect. It would have also meant they did not copy and paste trophies from TSW2 in that don't unlock. Hopefully they can move back to this sort of deal with TSW4 and you know that will happen in a year or so! My prediction 24-25

I thought I read somewhere Japanese companies like to impose limits which explains the 64 GB limit which Sony set not a hardware limit. And the trophy issues, if this was steam they could have 5000 achievements easily. In fairness its testing all those trophies as well!

 

Sony say too many trophies and everyone else has to suffer as well

 

they may go on about having the same achievements / trophies among the systems but did any one look at the achivements on TSW2020 for Steam which had loads of achievements not on console ?

They could leave PS will less trophy's than Xbox and Steam but I fear they will worry about any backlash from PS users
