Xbox One Have Dtg Taken The Game Away From 8th Gen

    I try to keep as up to date as possible with the forum and DTG announcements, but l seem to have missed this.

    l have been away from my xbox for a week, while on holiday and on return l went to install a purchase l made while away, namely ECML Diesel RailTour pack and found l had lost a third of my content. I tried to reinstall it all overnight.

    I found that each install had a message stating that the installation had stopped. Press A. Doing this l received another message stating that the content was unsuitable for my xbox.

    I have purchased everything for my Xbox One since the game started and also have everything on Steam up to the beginning of February this year. What are DTG doing?

    Every edition of TSW is as bad as the previous edition full of bugs etc, that really they should solve before swapping to a new version, which causes no end of frustration. Now they seem to be removing the products we previously purchased with our hard earned money. Then DTG start to release products not suitable for 8th gen equipment and now they are removing all our purchases. This game if far from being a pleasure anymore.

    l purchased an Xbox One just to play TSW, l will not spend nearly £500 of my small pension to purchase an 9th gen machine, unless DTG prove that the game runs well without any bugs etc., etc.

    I very much doubt that DTG have decided to revoke your dlc, and considering that the forums aren’t a mass of angry Xbox owners also reporting they’ve lost their content I’d suggest it’s more likely to be an issue with your hardware/account rather than a global issie, wouldn’t you think?

    That’s a possibility but l cannot see what is wrong as the products installed all work ok.

    Have you got enough free space? And tried installing one dlc at a time?

    Yes space is no issue. I will try individually too. Thank you.

    If it's anything like the Playstation platform, there's a weird glitch where you need to click onto the game title in the menu and click the 'renew licence'. This resolved similar issues on PS5 for me.

    When l went to play TSW5 all my content was there. Today l went to play it and TSW5 had disappeared. Went to Microsoft game store and reinstalled it. When complete the missing content was not available and l received the same messages as previously, stating that the installation had stopped. Press A. Doing this l received another message stating that the content was unsuitable for my xbox.

    As redev1917 kindly said it is possibly and issue with my hardware. I will keep a close eye on it and report it to DTG support.

    Have you tried a hard reset yet?

    Is it specifically saying "Unsuitable"? There are only two contexts I can imagine for this term being used. 1 would be parental restrictions on the XBox limiting your account, that seems unlikely. 2 is trying to download the Series X/S version on an XBox One. Are you trying to download from the store page? Or actively going into your list of owned content under "Manage game and installations" in the menus on your console and setting them to install from there? That's usually the workaround if there's some issue with the smart delivery system not handling remote installs properly.

    l am trying to reinstall from manage addons, l will try to do it individually from Microsoft store. Thank you, l appreciate your help.

    Pleased to say that l have now managed to reinstall my missing content. It was a slow but eventually successful process and l thank everyone who helped.

    I have a similar problem with the HKA Bogie wagons (says it is not compatible), everything else works fine

    I have the same problem with the HKA Bogie wagons on an Xbox One X it tells me it is not compatible
    I am trying to install from “manage game and add-ons”
    Everything else works fine (well, you know what I mean)

    HKA Bogie wagons is NOT compatible with Xbox ONE as shown on the link.

    Neither are DB BR 111 & n-Wagen and the Metrolink holiday packs.

    The upcoming Frankfurt SBahn route will also Not be compatible with Xbox ONE!!!

    They do work if you play them as an xbox pc game!!

    Thanks for that I can stop trying now.
    I did buy it for my series x so I just presumed it would work in the Xbox in the other room
