I'm not really sure why, but for the last I don't know 6 months maybe. I guess I just lost interest in it, but about a week ago, I started to get that "itch" again. I still haven't driven any train yet, instead I just picked a point on the map, pointed the camera at the tracks, and just sat there and watched. (For several hours) I think its safe to say that we all know if you do that for several hours, it can get a little boring. So here's where that itch I mentioned comes in, because if you then edit said boring few hours of recording, you get something completely different. And THAT is what I like about TSW the most. Well, I guess the short version is, Hello everyone, I'm back to TSW And lastly enjoy:
I think most games work like that. I went through a phase when I was playing little else other than Snowrunner, then all of a sudden I just burned out - probably on the later Russian maps where it takes 45 minutes to cross a 2km map even with the best truck and tyres. TSW or indeed TSC are a bit like that at times too, though you can mix it up by swapping around between routes - do a boring all stations run with a Dosto cab car in Germany one session, then next time thrash a Class 45 over the Pennines in NTP.
This is true for me! not in order of importance: TSW2 Hmmsim Metro Factorio Minecraft (think more than 6 months away from it) Crysis remastered Doom (2016) and Doom Ethernal. I keep moving from one to another.... time to time. Today I can play one of this a whole day and then forget it for 3 to 6 months.
Not to mention Run 8, which has just added a “Vernometer” to compile stats from all your runs. Both honoured and humbled at that one.
same with snow runner, loved it but when they nerfed it that bad it boiled my piiiss and I gave up on its ridiculousness
