Oh Boy, this is an important Message to DTG to watch what they’re doing in the background when they’re telling you what to experience. I Just watched the 10 thing to know about tsw4 video uploaded 1 hour ago and I was commenting that you can spawn a class 142 on free from when the video was on 0:41. But what was really on top of it 2 trains above was a DB BR642!!. This is yet another German DMU built by Siemens , so it seems like that the German route what we’re getting between September and December might not be electrified. As note, you can also see the leak of what it would look like right at the start of 10 things to know about TSW4 at 0:02. I’m guessing that this would be ALLGÄUBAHN: Kempten - Lindau & Immenstadt - Oberstdorf, this runs about 89km from Kempten to Lindua and the Branch between Immenstadt and Oberstdorf is 20km. Total of 109km the Valleys of Bavaria!. Another German Diesel Locomotive that could also be included is the DB Br 245, AKA the Bombardier TRAXX DE Multi Engine. Stations for the line from Kempten and Lindau Would be Martinszell, Immenstadt, Oberstaufen, Röthenbach, Heimenkirch, Hergatz and Lindau. The Stations on The Line Between Kempten and The branch to Oberstorf would be Martinszell, Immenstadt, Blaichach, Sonthofen, Altstädten, Fishcen, Langenwang and Oberstorf.
well https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/db-class-642-leak.74414 who knows what they'll leak next? the titanic?
That link what you sent me doesn’t really tell you much of what the route can be, plus he’s looking at the blury picture at 0:02 on mine you can really tell.
Since I live in this Region (Allgäu) I can tell some things about it why I don't think it will be the Allgäubahn. 1) the BR642 runs only from Kempten to Pfronten-Steinach (which further goes via Austria torwards Garmisch-Partenkirchen) But not anymore, it has been replaced by the BR633 Pesa Link Train. 2) Some years ago, the ALEX Train was operating there along the Line from Munich to Lindau (and Oberstdorf) with a BR233. 3) There are now only BR612, BR633 and BR648 running on the Allgäubahn. I don't think the BR642 was ever operating torwards Lindau.
Through the blurred route selection menu one of the 642's stickers has a slight yellow tint if you look closely, which suggests a BWEGT sticker, so it could be a route in Baden-Württemburg as well, possibly the TSG route that was hinted at in Niddertalbahn. If you look at real life pictures, BWEGT stickers match perfectly with where it is on the TSW4 642.
Why? The mentioned route is electrified since a long time. Why should a rather slow, low capacity and diesel train be operating there?
Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The Allgäubahn is mostly non-electrified. We only have the Route Munich - Buchloe - Memmingen - Lindau electrified. Currently Planned is to electrify the Route "Illertalbahn" from Ulm via Memmingen, Kempten, Immenstadt to Oberstdorf. But the Construction Plan is set from 2030 to 2033 if I have that right in mind.
