Hello there My name is Dave I've been following this forum for a number of years now I'm a train driver out of the east of London. I really do find it fascinating reading your comments on tsw. And to be fair you are all quite right. When dovetail release a route sometimes they get it right almost. The whole immersion thing is really good the graphics are exceptional the time they've spent building the surrounding area. But then also we have the bad which at the moment seems to outweigh the good. I don't confess to know anything about programming I'm afraid but I read all of your comments and it looks to me as the majority of you are dissatisfied with the final product being the core product? Maybe could there be a way where dovetail could enlist a lot of you on the forum maybe to help them in the future ? I know dovetail look a at the forum all the time. No I mean in an official capacity? Where it will include members of this forum in active discussions about the core game and also future add-ons. I know there are members of this community who are absolutely fantastic on doing modifications on the PC routes wow fair play to you. you are a computer genius all of you At the end of the day we pay out our money we are entitled to a decent product And a course we are entitled to our own opinions. If you read this thank you so much Dave
It's not a bad idea tbh, OP seems to be suggesting DTG hold Focus groups (lol, I capitalised that accidentally because of their parent group) with players to try and find out (and then hopefully fix) what matters most. More engagement with the players can never be a bad thing
Hello - we do have a closed beta group of players that are from across the community (including developers, ambassadors and real railway workers etc.) that get hands on with our releases prior to them coming out - we use their feedback to assist our development and also to find early bugs we can look to clear ahead of launch
Strange. Whoever/whatever wrote it, it doesn't read like feedback or bug spotting and it's not exactly pro DTG. So how it relates to a beta group is a mystery. And since when do beta testers post their opinions on the forum?
