Vernon (or Vern) Moorhouse, known as NorthernWarrior on Trainsim dot com, formerly BigVern at UKTS and as me at ATS Facebook group. Some of you probably know me of old, been around train sims since pre MSTS days when all we had were the likes of Simudrive with its text based graphics or Train Driver 3, which had a very crude cab view but had to be coaxed into running under Amiga Emulation on the PC. Not quite so active as I used to be (old hands, old eyes), particularly as regards route building where I primarily dabble in Trainz for ease of use (but otherwise the Freddy Kreuger of train sims ) but still enjoy a good drive on an interesting route with decent traction - preferably something from the 60's or 70's. Currently trying to get something going as a route project in DTG-TS, even if it's just an upscaled model or miniature railway plan to get my feet wet again. Yes I have been quite a vocal critic of DTG and their predecessors elsewhere in the past, but things have mellowed a little now and I look forward to making a positive contribution to both the TS and TSW sections of the forum. Now if only I could figure how to alter my username to OldVern...
Good to see some old faces. I still have the UKTS CD with your five route collection. Loved the Far North line back in the day.
Welcome Vern. You could ask a staff member if they'll change it for you (anyone with a DTG prefix in this forum) or seeing as you only have very few posts you could create a new account with a different e-mail, and ask the staff to delete/deactivate this one.
Vern - how the hell are you Sir? It's been a long time since you were active in the "Hellfire" space! Cheers Mike
