Why is it that when I want to explore a timetable the weather pattern always starts on clear sky by default? I would like to to see a bit of unpredictability and take pot luck when it comes to the weather at the start of a service. I would like to propose that the game randomly picks a weather pattern for me when the timetable screen first loads, the sliders could start in random positions allowing the player to make adjustments or select one of the 5 weather templates
Or adding a random option in the weather selection that the player can select, and won't know until the service starts what the weather is
Agreed, would like to see this too. Until then, what I normally do to decide what weather settings to have is to look to see what the weather is like outside for real, I also only play night services when it's actually at night too.
I do the same thing, lol. I pick what locomotive I want, then match the game weather to what I see outside my window, then pick the closest service to the current time
I would do this but I like to be out side when it's nice weather, so I'll only ever drive trains in the rain
