Im new to train sim classic 2024 and need some help starting to drive.
I watched a video of the controls to start but when the alarm goes off after changing reverser i cant turn it off even by left clicking on the big yellow button.
Please what am i doing wrong?
Is there a way of changing the keys assignment.
    Thanks

What train are you driving? The Q key should reset the alarm on most trains.

Instead of looking at a Video read the Manual that comes with each traction.
Assuming this is a UK train - you did not say - it should have two alarms
The AWS which is cancelled by Q and as you mentioned "the big yellow button" it is likely that.
And there is a vigilance and a number of leys can stop that - sometimes the letter E or the Enter on the Numberpad

Thankyou for replying maybe i didnt explain correctly, pressing Q does not do anything.
Pressing E does nothing either even using the mouse to click on the yellow button does nothing either.
So maybe its a bug or something.

    Which train? :p
    Scenario, route, etc.

In this game, every single train is its own design. Some follow standards, some don't.
I want to make a joke but I have to ask your age. :)

Probably there is a startup sequence, but now that the train is clarified, people can help. :)

    https://sites.google.com/view/trainsimulatorcontent/uk-trains/class-323

    See page 2

MUST start with SHIFT+W or nothing will work! (Master Key)
Next Move lever next to key towards yourself 1 click into 'Forward' or click on 'S' once
THEN you will need to click Q to cancel AWS alarm
If you are new you will also want to isolate the Dead Man Switch (Driver Safety Device Foot Pedal)) with Ctrl+D
    Turn off DRA with 'Y'
Now you are good to go

I keep a note on all trains and routes on my web site- Enjoy!
