can anybody help with setting up a station so that passengers work correctly in Scenarios.

I created static meshes for the Platforms om my station and have markers on the track corresponding to Platforms 1 and 2. I created a child object for the Station (using BPStn Runcorn) and replaced the static meshes for the platforms and buildings with my own leaving the Character Spawn volumes and waiting areas in place. The platforms refer to the track markers and the Station name is my station name.

When I play a test scenario (play in editor) I get an objective to "Stop at Platform 1" and on completion a request to unlock doors and load passengers. The doors open but no passengers leave the train or approach it from the platform. There is a small group of passengers in a "box" on the platform (corresponding to the spawn volume) but they appear and disappear within the box and don't walk.
After the loading time is completed I get a Lock Doors objective and that completes the scenario.

I also have a Nav mesh bounds around the whole thing (separate object).

The only things I can think of are :

    1. The Navmesh is not setting up correctly.

    2. I created the platforms "by hand" in Blender using exported track as a guide. Is it necessary to create DTG platform lofts in the editor , export those with the track and then adapt them in Blender ?

    3. Is this a problem with "Play in Editor" mode or linked to the fact that I am using character sets from DLC.
the coach is from West Somerset and the Station and characters are from Liverpool / Crewe.

If any body can help it would be appreciated - thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply - hopefully someone can help. Even before making this station I was getting a screen message saying "Navmesh needs to be rebuilt" and this is still there after I have added a Navmesh to the station.

I may look at some Unreal tutorials to make sure I am using Navmesh correctly.

    Thanks for your reply .
If you refer to the other thread https://forums.dovetailgames.com/members/greggryan2.9724/ you will see that I think I have managed to solve the problem on my own station.

The first issue was to make sure the Passenger Spawn Volume on the platform was set to call the correct AI Controller and that the Station Directory (for the route) is set up with a reasonable Passenger density.

The second issue (passengers not leaving the train) was due to the custom platform not being placed in the world at the correct height.

Only issue remaining is the passengers getting off won't clear the doorways and no passengers on the platform appear to board. I hope this can be solved by adjusting the Passenger Wait Volumes.

As regards DTG I suspect that New Route builders are a minority and that we are not DTG 's top priority. There seems to be a lot of information on Scenario and Timetable creation but not so much on the basics of Landscaping, Station setup, getting Custom Built Rolling Stock into the game and so on. I haven't been able to get the cooked and paked route to show up in game either.
