In case this helps anyone else - I found JT Hope Valley stuttering really badly, a kind of backwards and forwards rubberbanding of the screen in places and more troublesome than the other parts of the modern JT routes. It was a bit worse with RWE 2. Then I tried the Experimental Vulkan Renderer option in RWE 2 and it worked a treat. There is the occasional mild smooth slow down but nothing offputting at all.

Cyclone asked on another thread if it was possible to disable the need to respond to AWS and SIFA especially when he was wanting to take screen shots. There is an option for this in RWE 2. The AWS and SIFA sound briefly and are then are auto acknowlged.

    I have Intel Core I7 8700 @ 3.2 gh, RTX2070. TSC is on a mechanical hard drive.

RWE 2 is constantly being updated and improved and my experience on the rails is definitely enhanced, sight and sound.
