Two new locomotives have been outshopped from the paint shops. These are:- 66612 Works number 200118342-7 Class 66/6 66612 Forth Raider was delivered onto Newport Docks (UK) on March 29th 2002. It was named Forth Raider on October 10th 2003 at Oxwellmains Cement near Dunbar. In July 2011 it was transferred to Poland and now earns a living for Freightliner Poland and carries the number 66606. The version here is the loco without Freightliner branding along the bodysides in which it ran around the UK for a while. Although branding is supplied on the cab fronts and cabsides. https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/61570 -------------------------------------------- 66747 Works build No. 20028462-20 and originally numbered 66580 and belonging to Freightliner. In July 2011 it wa sold to GB Railfreight (along with 66581) and renumbered to 66740 (66581 was renumbered to 66741). For a while it was running around the UK in debranded Freightliner livery with small black running numbers. It was outshopped from Eastleighs Arlington works in GBRF house colours in June 2013 after having its fuel tank repaired. It has since been named Sarah (august 14th 2014). Obviously there are limitations to the 66 model seeing as its based on the EWS 66/0 model. Anyhow enjoy them. No, when BR bought LNER, LMS etc the renumbered they're locos. Like 4472 Flying Scotsman became 60103 Flying Scotsman and 4468 Mallard became 60022 Mallard for a few years.

Correct and heres what a class 66 can be painted into an East German U-boat locomotive DR Baureihe 119 Karpatenschrek DR Baureihe 120 Taigatrommel DR Baureihe 120 Taigatrommel colours fits the Class 66 more because both are designed as freight locomotives. Unlike the other German diesel locomotive the U-Boat DR Baureihe 119 which is classified as a universal locomotive since it's designed to do freight and Passenger service.

Another livery from the Workshops this weekend Works number 20078929-002 66302. Originally part of a batch of five locos built for Fastline in the UK. Pretty soon after these locos were delivered, Fastline folded. Subsequently these five locos were then leased to DRS Direct Rail Services in 2009. As part of a new leasing deal locos 66301 - 66305 will be on a long term lease to GBRF. Along with other european sourced type 66's and Some cl.77's. These will be renumbered from 66306 - 66316. So I have been let loose with the paintbrush again. This time on a wagon.... A german one at that. The Uacns82 Cement wagon from Ruhr Sieg Nord to be precise. I couldn't get the silver livery from the photo / models that I had referenced so googled a silver colour. The finished model is 195 layers. Took me 9 hours to do. 3 hours of research 6 hours of creation. The Cemex logo is 24 individual layers and not a single word was used in the creation of it. Its all shapes. I don't seem to remember any custom Uacns82 liveries layering in RSN so these can be used in your own scenarios. Although I do recall that these wagons either show up in mixed freight trains on Bremen Oldenburg or Kassell Wurzburg. Not sure which route or even both. Again not sure if they sub in. Anyhow enjoy. So another 66 has been released from the paint shops this afternoon and its available for your enjoyment. Works number EMD 20078929-001 (66301) was one of five locomotives ordered by the now defunct Fastline FOC in 2008. After Fastline folded these locos (66301 - 66305) were snapped up by Direct Rail Services (DRS) in the UK. Now some 13 years later with DRS releasing these locos GBRF have taken on the leasing of these locos for about 10 years for help with their expanding portfolio of intermodal, energy generation, infrastructure, waste, construction and rail services. These five ex DRS locomotives will be joined by 11 more euro spec 66's & 77's over the next 18 months.
