    High-speed line Nuremberg - Ingolstadt - Munich

    The high-speed line Nuremberg – Ingolstadt – Munich is a double-track German line
    High-speed railway line for long-distance and local passenger traffic between Nuremberg and Munich.
    The line is divided into the new Nuremberg – Ingolstadt line (NBS) and the upgraded line
    Ingolstadt – Munich (ABS) and is 170.8 km long.

    The route is an extension of the German Unity Transport Project No. 8 from Berlin
    Halle / Leipzig and Erfurt to Nuremberg. It is also part of the Scandinavia-Mediterranean core network corridor the earlier priority project No. 1 (Berlin – Verona – Palermo) of the Trans-European Networks.

    The inauguration of the route took place on May 13, 2006. On May 28, a preliminary operation began
    Long-distance trains on the new section. The full commissioning took place on December 10, 2006;
    At the same time, regional traffic also started. The travel time between Nuremberg and Munich was shortened in long-distance traffic by around half an hour to up to 62 minutes, in regional traffic by around an hour to around 105 minutes. The expansion between Ingolstadt and Munich is ongoing.

    Between Nuremberg and Munich, the Munich-Nuremberg Express runs every two hours. These trains are made up of modified InterCity cars and class 101 locomotives. It is currently the only regional train in Germany that can travel at speeds of up to 200 km / h and the first to travel the full length of a German high-speed new line.

    I would be very happy if this route would come for Train Simulator 2021/2022

    With best regards

    Would be an interesting route to have in game, and one I'm sure the "red box set" would love

    Above all, with its long tunnels and you could finally deploy your ICE models, up to 300 km / h :), and use the Nuremberg-Munich Express, which is also available for the TS :)

    Also put the route name followed by train simulator in google then go to video to see the route in action so you can judge for yourself how good the route is.

    Hi ccr ,

    yes that's right, I know :). But not in the version where you can drive completely from Nuremberg to Munich. I would love not to end up in Ingolsatdt, but to drive through in one go without having to change add-ons. And well, as far as the manufacturer is concerned, it's not that popular with German fans. Hence the turn to DTG, as DTG also delivers better quality than the manufacturer of GBE. And if DTG dares to go to Munich, it would be a mega dream, as there are so many variants of scenarios for scenario builders!
