something that i’ve never seen mentioned but is starting to annoy me, on controller you press the horn button, sometimes it’s the high tone and sometimes it’s low. it’s completely random depending on which train it is and it’s hard to remember which trains use which tone by default. i’d like to see consistency, where pressing the horn will always play the high or low tone

What console? On PS, if you press the horn, it gives 1 tone. Hold the square button, it gives a different tone

xbox, i mean that sometimes pressing the horn will give a high tone and sometimes a low tone for different locos

Correct, but which tone it gives differs.

Most locos in TSW have a high tone and a low tone. What OP is saying is that it should be the case that, for example, the low tone sounds every time you just press for the horn, and then the high tone sounds every time you press for the horn with operations shift. Rather than it varying based on loco.
