    Hi everyone,

I've been enjoying and exploring horseshoe curve and I can't for the life of me find out how to get the distance counters in the ES44AC working correctly.

It is counting down, just the completely wrong value.

    Here is what happens:

I have a 0.9 mile long train roughly 4,752 feet, I'll use this as my distance preset.

-Go to the distant counter page and click edit preset value

-Enter in 04572 (Though I've tried with 4572 without a 0 at the start and the distance is astronomically high.)

-Save the preset and select distance counter mode to count down from my preset.

-Click start counter when ready annnnnnd....in this example with 04572 as the value is starts counting down from 15584 in the distance box.

Every time I enter a distance preset in feet it counts down from a random value.

Does anyone else have this issue or better yet know if there's some type of work around so we can still use the distance counter?

    Thank you!

I know it says to enter feet for the train length, but to get it to work you have to enter your train's length in yards. So for your example, enter 01584. I also cycle the 'count up from 0' / 'count down from preset' button a few times, then set it to the 'count down from preset' setting. The train length counter will then work correctly.

Thank you so much for this. I'm surprised this hasn't been fixed yet as it doesn't seem like an overly complicated fix but is pretty immersion breaking. Have they said anything about fixing or when they may patch this?

it's rare that bugs like this ever get fixed in DTG (or its partners') products, unfortunately. but you never know, miracles do happen.
