Horseshoe Curve is a pretty good freight route in TSW, but it lacks more diverse motive power. That is why I propose a Gameplay Pack for Horseshoe Curve that would add three locomotives to the route. The first locomotive I would add to this pack is the SD70ACe. This locomotive is already in Sherman Hill and Cajon Pass, but I think it would make a great addition to Horseshoe Curve because it is a popular and iconic locomotive with Norfolk Southern. Maybe we could even see the rest of the Heritage Fleet get added. The second locomotive I would ad is the AC44C6M. These are rebuilt Dash 9s that have been converted into more modern AC4400CWs, which are already in the game with Sand Patch Grade and Cane Creek. They have been very popular with Norfolk Southern in recent years, even making a heritage paint scheme on #4851. The final locomotive I propose is the SD40-3. While we have already seen the SD40-2 in many routes in TSW, what makes the SD40-3 unique to NS is the Admiral Cab. These cabs increase safety, add air conditioning, and have angled front windows to reduce glare in the cab. Which is their most recognizable feature. Overall, I believe this Gameplay Pack would greatly improve the experience on Horseshoe Curve by adding a diverse set of iconic locomotives for players to enjoy.
If we get the AC44C6Ms, we need the special-liveried units (Sonic Bonnet, Shadow Bonnet, Red Bonnet), Honoring Railroaders Unit, and TAG Heritage Unit. If we get the SD70s, we should also get SD70IAC (Individual Axle Control units) and NS Heritage Units, including the new D&H unit. Other NS power: SD40E (rebuilt SD50, for helper service), SD60E, SD70ACC (including special yellow/gray units), ET44AC, GP60, GP59 (Sou. RR Heritage Unit included)/GP59E/GP33ECO, Admiral Cab GP38-3s and GP40-3s, and SD45-2 (including EL Heritage Unit). Also, steam power: N&W #611 and NKP #765 Also, NS OCS Train passenger cars and F9s (or SD60Es; F9s sold a few years ago)
