Hove

    Hi everyone ,

    As most of you know , the Brighton Mainline is coming to TSW2 this summer . I have a question with regards to this route .

    Will the hove branch be included ? It wouldn’t be that hard to add and would make the route feel a bit more complete . Here is hove on the map , and some photos of it :

    I very much doubt it as it’s not part of the London Brighton main line, though I agree it would be nice.

    While true as it is technically on the West Coastway, there is a good chance Hove could be part of the BML route. Firstly, there are sidings at Hove where Gatwick Express 387s park, creating a chance for depot moves. Secondly, Hove would be the ideal point to start/end Victoria-Littlehampton services (which obviously don't go to Brighton but join the WCW after Preston Park. Finally, having Hove could allow mini WCW services, ideally with the upcoming 313 DLC, to/from Brighton.

    Makes more sense to have Hove than not, but we'll see.
