I mean seriously , I just caught 52lb and 50lb mirros and a bunch of 40lb+ mirrors in Waldsee and none of them are boss fish , or trophy fish as they are called here. How can this be when many of the trophy carp is only 30lb+ ???? Did the devs forget to add a lot of boss fish names again ? Or is this intentional ? Either way it's stupid to catch a 50lb carp that is not considered a trophy fish but a 30lb one is.
This is intentional Wikus. A boss carp isn't always going to be the heaviest carp that is in the lake and so you can get 40lb and bigger that haven't been named.
We have named fish at my local pond, and they are not just named based on weight. Fish can earn a name based on a number things like its weight, personality, colour or features, like a scar.
You guys are missing my point. My point is , a trophy fish is based on bigger than x lb in weight. In this game it is based on whether or not it's a named fish. And that is completely wrong. In this game they brought in the concept of " trophy fish " and added achievements for it. So it should be working correctly in that it should be based on weight , not whether it has a name or not. Trophy fish should be bigger than x lb in it's species. Named boss fish should still have been a separate entity.
I’ve even caught 60lb carp on waldsee and it wasn’t a boss I can see where ur coming from but some big fish don’t have names well not untill someone names that certain fish I take it ??I’ve even caught roach which have been way bigger than the boss or trophy fish aswell
