How Do I Activate These Lights On The Sd40 (crr)

Hello there, i have wanted to know for a long time since the Clinchfield Railroad DLC has been in my possession, how do i turn on these lights on the SD40? (i know this image is beyond awful, but it was the only one i could make)

 

You can‘t since the switch for the class lights is not interactable.

Well, not really, since by the time the route is set (mid-1970s) class lights were no longer used, and RR were in the process of plating them over.
