I'm trying the service LDP-46-A Loading at Moab on Cane Creek but I can't figure out how to correctly set up the trailing AC4400CW. I can't hear the engine revving up when controlling the lead locomotive, so I'm doing something wrong.

I tried setting the Engine Run, Generator Field and Control switches to OFF-OFF-OFF and to ON-OFF-OFF, and I've tried setting the Air Brakes to Cut Out/Trail and to Cut In/Trail.

I can't figure out how to set up this locomotive correctly. Any help please? :)

Have you tried using banking comm? If that doesn’t work, I would try turning on only the Engine run and Gen Field, but leave control off. Make sure your front locomotive is set up as the lead engine.

Turn on Banking Comm in the lead loco. Then set up the lead loco as normal. Bob’s your uncle, banking comm does the rest and you are ready to load your cargo.

Besides what the other two have said, there’s also an issue Skyhook copied over from SPG: trailing locos sounds are sometimes broken and not playing correctly or at all. When you try fiddling with the banking comm and the three switches, make sure to check the display inside the trailing loco through the window to see if she applies power. Don’t rely on sound cues.

Where did they hide the Banking Comm button in the AC4400CW?

It’s on the panel above the windscreen, one of the yellow buttons on the radio.
