I’ve been playing TSW2 for about three weeks now. Done a bit of training and a few scenarios on the Sand Patch Grade. How can I get jobs? I’m looking for more long routes like Powering America etc. I’m playing on xbox.
After scenarios if you want to follow a 'structured' path through the game you can "Continue journey" which takes you through a chapter of services. Alternatively you can "Explore" and choose a Timetable service that interests you in terms of locomotive(s), train consist, stopping pattern, journey length etc.
If you're going to do the Journeys, it's best to do them from the start - they include all of the training and scenarios but mixed in with additional services to demonstrate the full variety of the route. If you do anything outside of the Journey mode, it won't count towards the Journey (you won't get the tick) so factor that in if such things are important to you.
