How do I know if safety systems are on for Boston? See mentions of them but never know if I have them on and following them and all.

In the ACS-64 they’re on the wall of the cab directly behind the drivers seat, you’re looking for ATC, ACSES and alerter.

In the F40 you need to be looking again directly behind the drivers seat, there is a cabinet which contains the fuse trip for the alerter and another for ATC.

As the route between Boston and Providence is all signalled via in cab signalling, the ACSES & ATC computers will be on by default, however they will not enforce any rules, only advise you of the speed limits, to enable the functionality of enforcement of rules and speeds, you need to enable them as above.
