I am in the process of making the Hbillns 303 wagon and I am nearly finished except I am stuck at creating the simugraph for it. Can anyone please show me an example of a simugraph of an unpowered wagon with brakes? That is my progress so far
That's about where I'm at, too; I've had a poke at setting up the needed assets and folder structure for my subway car (which I learned about here: https://wiki.trainsimcommunity.com/en/train-sim-world/modding/guides/setting-up-a-rail-vehicle), but I haven't figured out where to put my actual models in (maybe just a blueprint component in the RVM? But that doesn't seem right,) nor have I got any signalling or a basic timetable set up yet, so I don't know if any of it will work properly or even show up yet. Also have a look at matinakbary 's unofficial documentation for some useful simugraph stuff towards the end: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/editor-documentation-collection.74478/ Still not sure how VHID (virtual human interface device) components are created, or how to hook them up to the bones in my model or in simugraph... It all seems rather vague. You might have an easier time than I will, since you'll just need to set up the braking system, bogies, axles and such, without any VHIDs except maybe the handbrake and couplers I guess. If you get anything up and rolling along, please post what steps you took! I'll try to do the same, but for me it's more of a medium-term goal, I'll need to get some platforms, signals, and a timetable set up first.
I believe I should be able to help with the signaling, at least in terms of how to create a custom signalling system in TSW (I have absolutely no clue about the specific Toronto Subway signaling system, but surely you do). If you have Discord and a bit of time I can walk you through how to do it, I've also uploaded a video tutorial (https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/creating-your-own-signalling-system-in-tsw-editor.78161/) going through like a quarter of the process.
Thanks! I'm going to try starting with signalling on my own later in the week, work keeps me pretty busy after all.
