Hi, I'm trying to create a consist of Mk.3 carriages, with a Class 87 loco at either end. The problem I have is that the Class 87s won't 'snap' onto the carriages, thus won't form a consist. I can place them close and simply couple up in-game, but this isn't very helpful when trying to create a scenario with a rolling start! Any ideas? Cheers
Check that the "Allow all coupling" or simillar option is checked in your game settings on the main menu when you start TSC. I don't know why they should not be coupling since locomotive hauled Mk3 coaches should be configured with buffers/hook coupling in addition to buckeye, unless you are trying to couple a class 87 to HST Mk3 coaches as opposed to the loco hauled versions. HST Mk3s don't feature buffers and have a fixed buckeye coupler only. Also which 87 and Mk3 packs are you using? If the answer is DTG/RSC then please consider checking out Armstrong Powerhouse, they sell a high quality class 87 locomotive pack that entirely blows the DTG one out of the water in terms of quality and functionality.
