Hi all does anyone know how to drive the FGW class 166 on the GWE, I can spawn in a singular car in free roam but I can’t seem to find a full length one. Thanks in advance
It's not supposed to be accessible in the first place. The great western route was originally developed with the 166 and HST in FGW livery and both still exist in the game files, but Firstgroup when licensing the product only wanted their latest versions to be depicted, so they were switched to the GWR livery. That they're still in the game files is something of an oversight, or something the devs just don't talk about, but their code is now drastically outdated to the point that the FGW 166 still has the hud on it from TSW2020. In short, you can only get to it with mods. If you're on console like myself, you can only get to it with scenarios that people who do have mods have published.
On the PS5 you could choose to spawn it in on free roam but only 1 carriage. So I'd spawn another carriage facing the opposite way and then just couple them together. I don't know if it's still available but it used to be.
