Sorry for the noob question, but can anyone tell me how I can get the taillights to light up on 182? I never got them working on the red one, and I have the same problem with the new black one on HBK.
This has been bugging me for a long time now

Behind the driver seat is a switch with the headlight options , choose ‘ tail’

Nothing like hiding the switch! Must remember to get my car lights switch fitted in the rear passenger console ;)

Fly with the 3 cam to the left window (facing in the direction of travel).

On the back wall there is a dial you need to turn 1 step clockwise (IIRC) to "tail light"

Then you need to find the switch on the main console that sets "main and exterior lights" or something, then you need to put the reverser to neutral and then back to off again

More specifically, if you want the taillights turned on at the back, choose "headlights" in your cab (the front)- the taillights then come on at the other end. If you want taillights at your end, say, in a reversing move - then choose "Taillights"

This isn't like an old British loco where you have to run back to the other cab to turn the taillights on.

    1. Before setting up your driving cab (reverser off), go to the other cab.
    2. Put the reverser into neutral on this cab, exterior light master switch to on (desk), signal lights to tail lights (wall behind driver's seat).
    3. Put the reverser back to off and the tail lights should stay on. Now you can set up your driving cab.

This is the only way that seems to work for me. I thought maybe it was because the loco was connected to coaches and the tail lights stay off. Even running light loco, they wouldn't come on from only using the driving cab. Tried setting to headlights on driving cab but no tail lights on other side (just headlights on front). If there is a way then please post exactly what you do.
